Since inception, we have been focussed on enhancing our social capital, as it is one of the key elements for sustainable business growth. Our close engagement with our stakeholders and communities around our manufacturing facilities have helped create opportunities for them to become self-reliant and, in turn, fuelled our drive for continued exceptional performance.
GHCL is committed to creating an equilibrium in the use of natural resources and efforts to maintain the ecological balance in its areas of operations.
The GHCL Foundation focuses on various efforts.
- To rebuild and or replenish, the natural resources used in its operations;
- To bring together various entities and organizations working towards creating an environmental balance.
- To work with various entities towards developing various programs for providing education, health and safety to the marginalized sections of society.
- To work for the overall growth and well-being of society and environment
Key Focus Areas
We understand the community’s expectations of having better health and hygiene facilities, better employment opportunities, improved education and infrastructure. Through GHCL Foundation Trust, our community development services are extended in and around Gir-Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar & Valsad district in Gujarat and Madurai in Tamil Nadu.
