Hailing from Mota Laija village in the Mandvi block, Shivam grew up in a joint family of nine members. With his father running a small shop, he aspired to build a stable career and support his family. After completing his graduation, he actively searched for job opportunities but struggled to find the right path.

Everything changed when he attended a community mobilization meeting and learned about the Vocational Training Institute (VTI) Mota Laija Center. Realizing its potential to shape his future, he eagerly enrolled in the BPO trade, determined to gain new skills and build a better life.

His dedication paid off. With the guidance of VTI’s placement team, Shivam secured a job as a Computer Operator at Phonix International Pvt. Ltd., earning Rs. 16,500 per month. Filled with gratitude, he shared, “I am truly happy to have this opportunity right in my own village. Thank you, GHCL Foundation, for turning my dreams into reality.”
