Under the Vidyajyot Project, GHCL Foundation and Swadeep Shikshan Vikas Sanstha introduced Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM) at a school in Haranasa village, Sutrapada, to make learning more interactive for students of Grades 6–8.
Earlier, classroom teaching relied largely on textbooks, with limited opportunities for activity-based and experiential learning. Through educational games, visual materials and group activities in language, mathematics and science, students were encouraged to explore concepts, participate actively and learn collaboratively.
The initiative brought a positive change in classroom engagement, helping students develop a better understanding of concepts, greater confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm for learning.
The effort reflects how GHCL Foundation, through the Vidyajyot Project, is creating engaging learning environments that make education more meaningful, effective and enjoyable.
