Vibhutiben Chadapa, a 24-year-old Anganwadi helper and mother from Khambha, Gujarat, never considered health screening necessary as she had no symptoms. Her perspective changed when she attended a Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Programme organised by GHCL Foundation and Ashirwad Foundation in January 2026.

Initially hesitant, Vibhutiben agreed to undergo screening after counselling, which revealed a suspicious change in her left breast. With timely medical referrals, continuous follow-up and support from the team, she underwent further investigations and successful surgery at Ranawala Hospital, Kodinar, with the support of her Ayushman Card.

Her journey highlights how GHCL Foundation and Ashirwad Foundation are promoting awareness, enabling early detection and connecting women with timely treatment to help save lives.
