Dr. Manoj Vaish, born on May 24, 1961, is a highly respected Independent Director of the Company, having joined the Board on April 1, 2019. Recognized for his exceptional capabilities, he was appointed as the Lead Independent Director on July 29, 2021. Dr. Vaish holds a B.Com. (Hon.) from S.R.C.C. Delhi, an M.B.A. in Finance from F.M.S., Delhi University, and a Ph.D. in his field.

With a rich background in finance, forex, and securities markets, Dr. Vaish has gained extensive experience through key roles in organizations such as BSE, NSDL Database Management Ltd., and Dun & Bradstreet, as well as Deutsche Bank. His expertise spans financial education, risk management, credit ratings, and e-governance.

Dr. Vaish’s deep understanding of finance, accounts, and capital markets, along with his grasp of digitization and data protection, adds immense value to the Company. He is committed to integrating responsible business practices and prioritizes CSR initiatives. His strong leadership and strategic thinking contribute significantly to the Board’s decision-making processes.

In addition to his directorship in GHCL Limited, Dr. Vaish serves as a Director on the Board of Mirae Asset Trustee Company Private Limited and GHCL Textiles Limited. As Chairman of the Audit & Compliance Committee at GHCL Limited and Audit Committee of GHCL Textiles Limited, he ensures effective financial oversight and compliance. He also plays a crucial role in setting the framework for succession planning and ensuring gender diversity as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of both companies.

Dr. Manoj Vaish’s commitment to governance excellence and his expertise in financial matters make him a valuable member of the Board. He does not hold any shares in the Company and is neither a member of more than 10 Committees nor a Chairman of more than 5 Committees. He does not hold any Board or Committee positions in any other listed Company.
